An Artist who exemplifies excellence in ministry, music, and constantly promoting their music. Their music can be charted & through any of the media charts. Not only music released but also displaying the greatest competence in all aspects

This category awards the best Album of the Year. The album is giving to an artist through their marketing & promoting, mixing & mastering, Artist’s performance, musical background, engineering, packaging, design, art, layout, also can be charted

Category #3 Song of the Year 

This category awards the best Song of the Year. An Song may be a Traditional, Contemporary, Christian Contemporary, Quartet, Urban/Inspirational , Instrumental, or Rap/Hip Hop Gospel performer.
A particular song that trends throughout social media and/or radio. Touching the hearts of many and is shared throughout the industry, state and country.

Category #4 Recorded Music Packaging of the Year 

This category awards the Best Recorded Music Packaging of the Year. This award is presented to the Graphic Designer for their work on a particular Album, EP, Single Cover Design.

This category awards the artist which must be a soloist. In addition, this artist has never previously recorded a solo project on anyone else’s project and is new to the Industry/Ministry. This Artist may perform in either of the following categories: Traditional, Contemporary , Christian Contemporary, Urban/Inspirational, Instrumental, or Rap/Hip Hop Gospel.

Category #6 Best New Group 

This category award the artist which may be a group/duo, choir. In addition, this artist has never previously recorded a project on anyone else’s project and is new to the Industry or Ministry.  This Artist may perform in either of the following categories: Traditional, Contemporary , Urban/Inspirational , Instrumental, Quartet or Rap/Hip Hop Gospel. Open to Group/Duo or Choir.

Category #7 Vocalist of the Year

This category awards the vocalist who has not released any music but is spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ, promoting and encouraging words through song.

Category #8 Male Artist

This category awards the Male Artist of the Year. This Artist is a Soloist within the genre of Contemporary, Traditional, Christian Contemporary, Urban/Inspiration/Christian Hip Hop, Southern Gospel

 

Category #9 Female Artist

This category awards the Female Artist of the Year. This Artist is a Soloist within the genre of Contemporary, Traditional, Christian Contemporary, Urban/Inspiration/Christian Hip Hop. 

 

Category #10 Traditional Artist of the Year

This category awards the Traditional Artist of the Year in the category of Traditional Gospel Music.  This artist may be a soloist or a lead singer of a group/duo, choir or quartet, Male or Female

Category #11 Multicultural Artist of the Year

This category awards the artist/group where their music is cross-culturally. An international artist may have any Caribbean, Creole, and/or Hispanic backgrounds.

 

Category #12 Dr. Arthur T. Jones: Choir Director of the Year

This category awards the Choir Director (Contemporary or Traditional) Church or Community Choir 

 

Category #13 Worship Leader of the Year

This Category awards the Worship Leader of the Year. The worship leader leads their congregation into the presence of God, whether it be Contemporary, Traditional or Christian Contemporary Music.
(Must Be An Active Worship Leader of 1 ministry leading worship)

 

Category #14 Community Choir of the Year

This category awards the Community Choir of the Year (Contemporary or Traditional)
The community choir must consist of more than 11 members

 

Category #15 Church Choir of the Year

This category awards the Church Choir of the Year (Contemporary or Traditional)
The church choir must consist of more than 11 members

 

Category #16 Minister of Music/Pastor of Worship

This category awards the minister of music and/or pastor of music serving as the lead servant of the music ministry

(Must be active in 1 church)

Category #17 Contemporary Group of the Year

This Category awards the best Group/Duo of the Year, in the Contemporary Gospel Music. Group/Duo can consist of from 2 members up to 10.

Category #18 Quartet Group of the Year

 

Category #19 Christian Rap/Hip Hop Artist of the Year
This category awards an artist with a cross-genre of contemporary Christian music and hip hop music. (Male or Female)

Category #20 CCM/Southern Gospel Artist of the Year

This category awards an artist in the genre of Contemporary Christian music. Music may also known as Christian pop, which is lyrically focused on matters related to the Christian faith and stylistically rooted in Christian music along with southern gospel through country, bluegrass style music.

Category #21 Dr. Thomas J. Reed Emerging Artist of the Year 

This Category awards the Youth/Young Adult Artist of the Year.
This particular artist is our generation next. They may perform: Gospel, Christian Contemporary, Holy Hip Hop, Dance, Spoken Word, Musician. Etc.
(Must be 25 & Younger)

 

Category #22 Dance/Liturgical M of the Year 

This category awards Dance Ministry of the Year. Any form of Christian Dance: Liturgical, Praise Dance, Flag, Hip Hop, Mime. Solo or Group/Duo, Church or Community 

 

Category #23 Photographer/Videographer of the Year

This category awards who the photographer/videographer who shares the love behind the lens. Taking photos and/or videos at events. 

 

Category #24 Musician of the Year 

This category awards the musician who exemplifies excellence, good character and maintaining integrity while spreading music through their particular instrument. (Keys, Organ, Drums, Bass, Guitar, Percussion.)

 

Category #25 Producer of the Year 

This category awards the producer that's responsible for bringing all the pieces together from a particular project. Oversees production for a projects.

 

Category #26 Best In Media

This category awards the individual who promotes music through the airwaves. Shares whats happening in the community by newspaper/magazine. Helps by promoting artists, events and music.

Category #27 Radio Station

This category awards the Radio Broadcasting Station/Podcast (Internet/Terrestrial Station/ Podcast).
